Bryce Taylor is more perfect than Bo Derek

Taylor_2

Bryce Taylor was a perfect 11-11 in today's Pac-10 championship game, including 7 three pointers. Phenomenal performance.

I've known Bryce since he was a kid, so I watch him with special interest. His father, Brian Taylor, is good friend who does great work as principal of View Park Prep Middle School, a charter school in one of LA's most troubled neighborhoods. Brian was a pretty good hoops player in his day, but I am sure he's happy to now be known as Bryce's Dad.

When Bryce left the game with 6 plus minutes, he was still within striking distance: USC 39, Bryce  32.

I'm kicking myself for not going today, but I pretty much lived at Staples Center the last couple days.

But I might not have heard ESPN's Jay Bilas say, "Every Duck was quacking threes."

Go Bruins, Cardinal (looks like they're "out"), Ducks, and Tar Heels. Heck, I'll even root for USC in the Tourny. (Ok, I am west coast biased).
