Why no Sean Jones????

Steroids/HGH are a geat financial move. Guys who juice for even one year (make sure it is a contract year, right Adrian Beltre and Javy Lopez?) reap major financial rewards.

Look at Clemens stats from 1993-96 before he apparently started juicing. He was on course to be out of baseball pretty soon. It would not have been all that surprising either. He turned 30 in 1993 and began a slow, steady decline. In 1997 he was 34 and had a 40-39 record over the previous 4 seasons. The notion that he would last more than 2 or 3 more seasons seemed sorta unlikely.

Then, wham-o, along came the juice and he got to pitch for 11 more seasons at about 10-million dollars a pop (plus endorsements). He made a smart financial move. So did Sosa, McGuire, Bonds, and many others who chemically enhansed their careers. Sure, they cheated and endangered their health, but the made bucket-loads of money.
